Being Mindful; Being Well
How being mindful can enhance our physical and mental wellbeing.
When we choose to pay attention in a particular way, with intention and without judgement, we’re being mindful. When we do, we build our capacity to be fully present, in touch with ourselves every moment, and better able to be fully connected to each other and the world around us. Research demonstrates that mindfulness can enhance our mental and physical wellbeing in profound ways. In this interactive workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn more about mindfulness, experience a few simple practices they can do anytime, and explore practical ways of making mindful choices in their daily lives.
