The Deanery Project's fourth annual Rural Roots Festival is a day packed with learning, sharing and fun for all ages. On arrival you will choose five (1 hour) workshops from more than 20 options ranging from permaculture design, mushroom foraging and dry stone walling to Scottish Country Dancing, clay plasters, rocket stoves, fermentation and more. Full schedule to be confirmed mid October.
Registration opens at 10 am with workshops finishing up at 5:00. Admission is $15 for Deanery members and $20 for non-members. Youth under 16 yrs. is $5 and under 6 yrs is free. Delicious home made lunch and dinner will be available for purchase.
The day wraps up with a concert from 7:00- 9:00 featuring talented "Deanery Friends".
