Join us for an evening with Susan MacLeod, author of Dying for Attention, a graphic memoir on navigating a callous long-term care system in what became a nine-year battle to help her 90-year-old mother.
Susan MacLeod’s illustrations have been published by Kaiser Permanente, Halifax Magazine, and the Globe & Mail, as well as others.
In this talk, Susan will discuss her experiences with the long-term care system and her process creating the memoir, offering her reflections and insight on how to cope.
This is an in-person event with an option to join in via Zoom.
