Eastern Shore Forest Watch is pleased to introduce Rural Water Watch, a new organization committed to offering help to rural communities facing drinking water issues. Municipal water systems have legislated safety standards. But 40% of Nova Scotia's households depend on wells for their drinking water, and householders are on their own when it comes to water quality. The presentation will discuss the challenges this service gap creates for residents in many communities and how RWW is addressing these challenges.
Presentation will be followed by Eastern Shore Forest Watch Report to the Community and AGM. Join Forest Watch or renew your membership. All welcome. Young people specially welcome. Refreshments! Event is FREE! Contact: [email protected]
