In a swing along the Eastern Shore, Central Nova Member of Parliament Sean Fraser announced a series of grants for seniors and community organizations. Stopping at the Harbour Lites New Horizons Club in Musquodoboit Harbour, Fraser said that Harbour Lites will be getting $11,849 to replace appliances and get a new furnace. The Old School Community Gathering Place will receive $25,000 for some building upgrades and a stove, table, and chairs for a senior’s inclusion lab. Further east, the Lake Charlotte Heritage Society will get $23,000 for a project involving seniors in the creation of a permanent traditional lobster buoy exhibition at Memory Lane Heritage Village.
