Mushrooms play an important role in the environment, breaking down logs, leaves, stems, and other organic matter in the forest to recycle essential nutrients. Many are vital to the growth and survival of trees! Ever wanted to learn more about the majestic and mysterious life of mycelium?
In this workshop, long time permaculture educator and mushroom enthusiast, Charles Williams, will share information about the marvellous world of mushrooms, followed by hands-on demonstrations of how to grow your own gourmet mushrooms on various substrates including logs, straw, coffee grounds and bags.
Light snack included.
