The Hope for Wildlife Society’s Annual Open House event allows the public to get a “behind-the-scenes” look at wildlife rescue and rehabilitation; with access to bird and mammal nurseries, recovery units, marine units, and flight cages. The Open House includes wildlife displays and demonstrations, kids’ activities, live music, barbeque, and silent auction. This annual fundraiser is a great place to meet local exhibitors, crafts people, and have some great local food. This is the Hope for Wildlife Society’s largest fundraiser of the year, and admission is free to ensure access to everyone. All funds raised at this event support Hope for Wildlife’s efforts to help injured and orphaned wildlife in Nova Scotia. Our Annual Open House event allows local businesses, craftspeople, and organizations to reach a niche audience, while teaching thousands of people about the importance of working with wildlife, and creating and maintaining a sustainable future.
