There will be another “Game Days” in June to explore interest in holding a weekly “Board Game Café” starting this fall. The session will take place in the basement of the First United Church. The second Game Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th from 2-5pm.
The proposal comes from long-time community organizer Edyth Shuman, whose growing number of grandchildren got her thinking about developing more opportunities for young people outside of school hours. She plans to have a variety of board games on hand, plus drinks and snacks.
