Elections Nova Scotia recognized Nova Scotians United as a “registered political party” under Nova Scotia election law in December 2021. The party’s chair, Leigh Baker, has been a vocal opponent of the provincial Covid vaccination program, and posts opposing Covid vaccination are a regular feature of the party’s Facebook page. On its website, the party platform has a list of “Objectives” that include reducing taxes, privatizing alcohol sales, “addressing human trafficking and sex crimes,” and “Reject the Globalist Agenda.”
