The 8thannual VDay on the Shore will be looking at our relationship with the earth and how violence toward women and the earth are related. For the last 8 years, Women Addressing Violence on the Eastern Shore (WAVES) has used the VDay celebration to help all people understand the role that violence plays in all our lives, through stories, poems, songs, art work, and other media
This year’s show, titled “Mother Earth: Our Connection,” will have a variety of performances, an art show, a silent auction, refreshments, a bake sale, and door prizes. As in previous years, the performers will bring joy, laughter, tears, empowerment, and a sense of community.
