Central Nova MP Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship was at the Carroll’s Corner Community Centre today to announce 5 grants totaling $322,727 for four projects across the Eastern Shore.
The money for five projects came through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) and one project through the Tourism Relief Fund (TRF). Fraser spoke on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
The five projects were a new playground at the Carroll’s Corner Community Centre, renovations to the Eastern Shore Galleries’ repurposed church in East Chezzetcook, an outdoor kitchen and boardwalk at the Ecum Secum Community Park, a new floor for the Meagher’s Grant Community Hall, and new accessibility ramps at the Harbour Lites New Horizons Club in Musquodoboit Harbour
