The Deanery Project, located on a stunning ocean front property in Ship Harbour, is both a learning centre and a much-loved community space. We offer education and tools to help strengthen our communities and the environment, through innovative, hands-on, and art-inspired programming.
We are hiring! We are looking to expand year-round use of our trails, waterfront, artist residencies, wood shop, Bike Hub, Sound Studio, classrooms, Main Hall, and cozy “bunkies”! There are full, and part-time, opportunities for administration, communication, and coordination to develop, deliver and host programs.
Please send a resume and cover with your skills and interests to: [email protected] or call Kim at 902-845-1888 for more info on how you can support the Deanery’s climate action and community work.
Looking to volunteer? Builders, bakers, and candlestick makers of all ages are welcome! If you have a special project, idea, or skill that you would like to share, or are looking for a venue for a staff, or group retreat - please be in touch! We are open by appointment, or by chance.
Finally, we’ve got a winter solstice celebration in the works for Saturday, December 17th. Mark your calendar and follow our FB page and website (www.thedeaneryproject.com) for updates on this and other events!
